Neste Oil sues Syntroleum over fuel composition patent

In Oklahoma, Syntroleum announced that it was sued for alleged patent infringement by Neste Oil regarding U.S. Patent No. 8,187,344. Syntroleum denied infringement and said it will defend vigorously against the allegations. In a statement, Syntroleum management noted that a similar ‘018 patent was invalidated and added that “the ‘344 patent…adds nothing new to the field of fuel compositions used for diesel engines.”
