Mumias Sugar looks to boost returns by procuring more molasses and bagasse

In Kenya, Mumias sugar intends to procure molasses and bagasse from rivals in order to boost ethanol and electricity production, following in the footsteps of Spectre International who produces ethanol using a similar model. Factory maintenance and 54% lower cane supplies cut ethanol revenues by 25% during the last reporting period.
