Menzies Aviation signs MoU with FlyORO to expand SAF availability
In the UK, Air Cargo News reported that Menzies Aviation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FlyORO Technologies to support sustainable aviation fuel distribution.
Menzies will use its experience in fuel operations and its footprint of more than 16 airports in Europe to support the management of FlyORO’s AlphaLite blending solution. The aim is to enable more compliant and efficient blending, storage and delivery of SAF at or near airports, helping more airlines access sustainable fuel, according to the report.
Under the MoU, the companies will look at how AlphaLite, a modular and flexible blending system, can be integrated into existing airport fuel infrastructure in compliance with the highest industry standards, it added.
FlyORO’s AlphaLite technology is currently in commercial use in Australia.
