Malaysia’s total palm oil stocks rise 7.48% to 2.82 million tons in August
In Malaysia, New Straits Times reported that Malaysia’s total palm oil stocks rose by 196,590 tons, or 7.48%, to 2.82 million tons in August 2026 from 2.62 million tons a month earlier, according to the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB).
MPOB said crude palm oil (CPO) stocks increased 15.20 per cent, or 217,092 tons, to 1.64 million tons in August 2026 from 1.42 million tons in July 2026.
“However, processed palm oil stockpiles eased 1.71% to 1.17 million tons from 1.19 million tons in July,” it said in its Malaysian Palm Oil Industry, August 2026, performance report.
