Malaysia to roll out B15 on June 1 with B50 seen in next three years

In Malaysia, Free Malaysia Today reports the government is planning to roll out the B15 blending mandate from June 1 in response to geopolitical tensions that have increased fossil fuel costs. Similar to Indonesia, the country has been contemplating a quick ramp up to 50% biodiesel in the next two to three years with B20 on the cards for 2027. The country currently has biodiesel production capacity of 1.5 million liters from 19 production facilities.
