Major Green Plains shareholder buys $5 million in stock just before 10% tumble

In Nebraska, a major shareholder of Green Plains—Tourbillon Capital Partners—purchased about $5 million worth of shares in the company between Dec. 30 and 31, according to SEC filings. The stock was valued at between $24.82 and $25.16 at the time but fell more than 10% on Monday to $23.09 per share.
