Linde subsidiary launches 5MW green hydrogen plant in Brazil
In the UK, GasWorld reported that Linde subsidiary White Martins has brought a 5MW green hydrogen plant online, adjacent to an industrial gas facility in Brazil.
The pressurized alkaline electrolyzer facility in Jacareí, São Paulo, will supply green hydrogen for a local glass manufacturer and sectors including metallurgy, chemicals, and food. It has been built near an existing air separation unit, according to the report.
Having gone live one year after its planned 2025 start-up, it is White Martins’ second green hydrogen project in the country and brings the Rio de Janeiro-headquartered company’s overall capacity to 10MW, the report added.
