Latest ANP biodiesel auction sees contracts for 733.9 million liters

In Brazil, the national energy agency ANP said 733.9 million liters of biodiesel were sold at it most recent auction at an average price of 67.1 cents per liter, 96.6% of which held the social seal. During the two-day auction that sources biodiesel for supplying the 8% minimum blending mandate, 34 producers offered a total of 872.3 million liters. The first day saw nearly 75% of the total volume contracted sold. The fuel contracted is for consumption during May and June 2017.
