Lake County gives ultimatum to Powers Energy over funding.

In Indiana, Lake County solid waste officials have given Powers Energy until July 19 to come up with the money for moving the proposed waste-to-energy facility or the contract with the County to supply MSW for the project will be voided. The company is trying to seek more time to raise the 25% of the project’s $300 million in order to raise the rest through bonds.
