Keppel signs MOU with Sjoitz to decarbonize in the Asia Pacific
In Japan, Keppel Ltd., through its Infrastructure Division, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tokyo-based investment and general trading company, Sojitz Corporation with the intention to jointly pursue decarbonization and clean energy business opportunities in Asia Pacific.
Under the MOU, Keppel and Sojitz will jointly identify and develop a pipeline of projects in bioenergy and resource recovery, as well as invest in and operate energy solutions that support energy transition in Asia Pacific. The collaboration also seeks to harness Keppel’s Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) know-how and proprietary solutions for businesses in markets where Sojitz operates in.
