April 23, 2026 |

In India, BioEnergy Times reported that Kent has secured a major contract to support one of the UK’s early large-scale green hydrogen projects.

The engineering firm has been appointed by MorGen Energy to provide engineering, procurement and construction management services for a 20 MW green hydrogen plant in Milford Haven, according to the report.

Kent’s role will include design verification, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction oversight. The company will also manage the integration of key technologies, including modular electrolyzers supplied by ITM Power, according to the report.

The plant will be developed within the Celtic Freeport at an existing oil terminal operated by Puma Energy. Once operational, it is expected to produce up to 1,865 tons of green hydrogen annually using two 10 MW electrolyzers.
