Kanadevia, Bahwan Engineering to partner on green hydrogen projects in Oman
In Bulgaria, Renewables Now reported that Japanese engineering firm Kanadevia Corp has signed a partnership agreement with Oman’s Bahwan Engineering Company (BEC) to jointly pursue green hydrogen and other low-carbon fuel initiatives in Oman.
The agreement sets a framework for cooperation covering the entire project delivery process, including bidding, engineering, procurement, manufacturing and sales for green hydrogen and e-methane projects in the Sultanate, according to the report.
The partnership will combine Kanadevia’s water electrolysis stack technology, a core component of hydrogen production systems, with BEC’s local engineering and construction capabilities, as well as its established customer base, it added.
