Italy’s ErreDue lands $970,000 alkaline electrolyzer deal in Uganda
In the UK, Fuel Cells Works reported that Italian electrolyzer maker ErreDue has secured a contract worth approximately $970,000 to supply a 0.5 MW alkaline hydrogen production system to a steel industry customer operating in Uganda.
Two modular 250 kW G75 alkaline electrolyzers will be shipped to the East African manufacturing site, with delivery scheduled for late September 2026, according to the report.
The agreement covers the full supply of a hydrogen production system built around alkaline electrolysis, with the end installation set for one of the group’s manufacturing sites in Uganda.
