IRH, AD Ports Group sign deal on bunkering at Khalifa Port
In the United Arab Emirates, IRH Global Trading and AD Ports Group signed a memorandum of understanding on June 30 to explore bunkering services and alternative marine fuel development at Khalifa Port. The agreement covers potential collaboration on LNG, biofuels, and methanol supply, along with fuel storage infrastructure, terminal facilities, and fuel testing capabilities.
The companies said the deal is intended to strengthen Khalifa Port’s position as a deep-water port supporting sustainable maritime operations. IRH Group CEO Ali Rashed Alrashdi said the partnership fits into the company’s broader energy trading platform, while AD Ports Group said the agreement supports the UAE’s positioning as a global trade and logistics hub.
