India’s transport minister sees E100 future not far off
In India, the Press Trust of India reports that just a day after it was understood that the petroleum ministry was exploring the use of flex fuel vehicles to allow E85 to be sold at the pump, the transport minister has said that he sees an E100 future for India. With fuel price volatility ongoing due to the war in Iran, pushing towards ever higher volumes of ethanol blending is a way to increase self-sufficiency, he said.
