India waives excise duty on E22, E25, E27 and E30 fuel blends
In India, the Times of India newspaper reports the government has waived excise duty on E22, E25, E27 and E30 fuel blends to make way for higher blends as the government seek to build 500 ethanol stations around the country by year’s end. The rush past E20 has been fueled by geopolitical instability in the Middle East, which also sparked the recent roll out of E85. Even with higher blends on the ways, E20 will still remain available at the pump.
