Illovo looking to diversify into more ethanol production

In South Africa, Illovo is looking closer at diversifying into more ethanol production, possibly even into fuel ethanol ahead of the government’s moves to finally implement fuel blending. The company opened a potable distillery in 2013 in Tanzania which has proved successful and will likely be a model for expansion into other countries with Zambia seen as the next probably target.
