IATA urges biofuels cooperation in Eastern Europe
In Europe, IATA is urging the governments of Eastern Europe to consider three areas for partnership with the aviation industry, citing the biofuels industry as a tool to unite the countries. Sustainable biofuels, IATA argued, will be a part of the long-term environmental solution, and will help to avoid trade wars. Camelina grown in Romania could help provide a industrial-scalable solution for the industry as EU environmental regulations become more and more stringent.
