Hyperfuels supplying bio-isobutanol through US as E0 option

In Texas, HYPERFUELS LLC recently announced that it is supplying renewable isobutanol throughout the United States for use as a gasoline oxygenate and as a high-performance alternative to ethanol in ethanol-free gasoline programs.

HYPERFUELS will deliver renewable isobutanol in bulk by barge, railcar, and truckload, providing gasoline terminals, blenders, distributors, and specialty-fuel marketers with a commercial-scale oxygenate supply option.

Using its isobutanol creates an opportunity for terminals to move beyond the commercial and regulatory constraints associated with an E0-only approach while supplying gasoline that is ethanol-free. HYPERFUELS will work with each customer to evaluate blend specifications, oxygen content, vapor-pressure performance, product compatibility, labeling, recordkeeping, and all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
