Hydrous ethanol prices on the rise in Brazil but anhydrous holding steady

In Brazil, CEPEA says that hydrous ethanol prices rose 1% last week to $2.38 per gallon, capping a five-week slide in prices, as rains in Sao Paolo slowed down the beginning of the sugarcane crush. Ethanol production is typically favored during the early part of the crushing season when rains are common. Anhydrous ethanol prices stayed steady at $2.94 per gallon.
