Greenleaf Biofuels ready for September biodiesel opening in Connecticut
In Connecticut, the 10 million gallons Greenleaf Biofuels biodiesel plant is expected to be commissioned and operation by September, said company officials as they hosted numerous local and state legislators on a tour of the 8,600 square foot building.
The plant, which will utilize waste cooking oil and other recycled fats and oils, intends to focus on in-state distribution, with some added offtake to New York, and will hire up to 20 local employees.
