April 9, 2026 |

In the UK, Fuel Cells Works reported that from March 30 to April 30, the port of Saint-Malo, in France, hosts StatMobHy, a green hydrogen station dedicated to terrestrial port users.

Supported by the Brittany Region, this initiative aims to initiate the uses on the ports of the region by demonstrating the feasibility of the distribution of green hydrogen, to raise awareness among port actors and to accompany them in the mastery of technical and security issues related to the handling of hydrogen to accelerate the energy transition of ports.

The StatMobHy experimentation aims to raise awareness of hydrogen among port actors, to support them in the control of technical and safety issues, and to demonstrate the feasibility of the distribution of green hydrogen on ports, according to the report.

Depending on the results of the project, the experiment could be repeated in Lorient and Brest, the report added.
