Grain production Brazil to reach 358.6 million tons in the 2025/26 crop cycle, Conab says
In Brazil, the Brazilian Government reported that Brazilian farmers are expected to harvest 358.6 million tons of grains in the 2025/26 crop year. The new estimate from the National Supply Company (Conab) points to a new production record, potentially registering a 1.8% increase compared to the result obtained in the previous cycle, that is, an increase of 6.4 million tons to be harvested in this cycle.
According to Conab, this result is justified by the increase in the cultivated area, estimated at 83.5 million hectares, combined with favorable weather conditions, which should reflect in a good national average productivity of 4,295 kilos per hectare.
Among the cultivated crops, soybeans stand out with an increase of 8.8 million tons compared to the volume obtained in the previous harvest.
Corn, the main crop cultivated in the second harvest, has an estimated total production of 140.5 million tons, according to Conab.
