Global soybean exports up 11% since the start of the year
In Ukraine, UkrAgroConsult reported the global soybean exports have increased by more than 11% since the beginning of 2026, reaching 3.05 million tons, according to analysts from Oil World.
The main soybean importers in April were China at 13.64 million tons, and the EU at 1.45 million tons.
Overall, since the beginning of 2026, global soybean export volumes increased by 6.2 million tons year-on-year, reaching 63.71 mln tons, driven by strong demand for oilseeds. In the first four months of the year, Brazil shipped 40.24 million tons, the United States 17.04 million tons, Paraguay 3.94 million tons, and Canada 1.17 million tons.
The key global importer of soybeans was China, which purchased 38.08 million tons since the beginning of the year, according to the report.
