German ethanol production from sugarbeet soars 54.4% in 2012

In Germany, ethanol production from sugarbeet soared in 2012 by 54.4% to 253,866 metric tons which was produced from 2.7 million tons of beet. Overall ethanol production rose 7.4% to 613,381 tons as a result of increased demand from E10.
