Gasum opens liquid biogas station at Trondheim Port
In Norway, Gasum has opened its thirteenth filling station for liquid biogas in Norway, centrally located in Trondheim Havn. The new station strengthens access to renewable fuels for heavy transport in Trøndelag and along the E6 north. The filling station is established in central Trondheim Harbour with close proximity to the E6. The port area is an important and growing logistics hub in Trondheim, and the station will be open to both local and national carriers.
Gasum established its first biogas filling station in Trondheim at Tiller in 2021. Since then, the demand for renewable fuels has increased, and the new station in Trondheim Havn will strengthen both capacity and the safety of delivery in the region.
The station is part of Gasum’s growing national network of filling stations along the main road network, and is particularly well placed for heavy transport that runs north from Trondheim.
