France’s Cristanol boosts ethanol income despite sugar production downturn

In France, improved results from Cristal Union’s Cristanol ethanol arm helped boost the company’s operating income results despite lower ethanol production during the year. Sugar production for 2010/11 fell to 781,358 metric tons from 845,858 tons the year before.
