Florida to benefit greatly from biofuels, says Fuels America economic impact study
In Washington, Fuels America has released an economic impact study which demonstrates the benefits of renewable fuels for Florida workers and businesses, which include driving $4.4 billion of economic output, supporting more than 20,000 jobs, and generating $136 million in state tax revenue per year. The report, put together by John Dunham & Associates, takes into account the entire supply chain for renewable fuels and quantifies the impact to the economy.
