Fibu lands funding from Swedish Environmental Protection Agency for bio-based foam
In Sweden, Fibu AB has been granted climate investment funding from Klimatklivet, a program administered by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (Naturvårdsverket), to support the scaling of its patented bio-based foam technology. The funding will enable the expansion of Fibu’s production capabilities as the company advances the commercialization of its material solution.
Fibu develops a renewable foam material based on wood fibers designed to replace fossil-based plastic foams used in various applications such as packaging, insulation, and acoustics.
