Ethanol production rebounds to 1.094M barrels per day
In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production jumped to 1.094 million barrels per day last week after slipping earlier in the month. With profit margins remaining healthy, producers were able to increase stocks to 24.481 million barrels despite significantly higher exports at 158,000 barrels per day, nearly double the week prior and triple the year before. Demand rose with fuel refiners and blenders boosting their purchases to a one-year high.
