Ethanol production hits 10-week high but stocks fall to lowest since early December
In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production hit a 10-week high of 1.082 million barrels a day last week, but even so, stocks fell to their lowest level in nearly a year at 21.771 million barrels as demand for blending stock increases. Ethanol exports also dipped by 46% last week down to 60,000 barrels per day, but it’s still well above the 9,000 bpd exported during the same period last year.
