Ethanol production continues at steady pace
In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol continued to soar last week with strong margins helping producers to crank out 1.2 million barrels per day, the highest seen in five weeks yet stocks continued to grow to 26.699 million barrels, up 646,000 barrels from the week before. Ethanol exports dropped by more than half compared to last week to 81,000 barrels per day while refiners purchases for ethanol blending also fell to a six-week low.
