Ethanol exports soar with 2026 overtaking 2025’s record YTD
In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports ethanol exports soared during the first week of April to 203,000 barrels, pushing 2026 ethanol exports to date well above those in 2025 that broke records. Supporting those strong exports are increased production, reaching 1.116 million bpd that week, 41,000 higher than the week prior and 95,000 higher than the same time last year. Stocks also rose to 26.053 million barrels but were nearly 1 million barrels lower than the year before.
