Enagás sells another 40% of renewables arm to Hy24 for $56.27M
In Spain, Cinco Días reports that Enagás announced on Tuesday the sale of 40% of its subsidiary Enagás Renovable to Hy24, a fund in which the French group Ardian participates and which already owned 30% of that company. In this way, Enagás, which will earn 48 million euros for the operation, will remain as a minority partner, with 20% of the company (until now it had 60%). At the same time, Hy24 has bought the packages they kept in Enagás Renovable Amancio Ortega (through its holding company Pontegadea) and Navantia, with 5%, respectively, which grants 80% of the capital to Hy24. Specifically, the participation in renewable Enagás of this manager, the largest in the world specialized in low-carbon hydrogen assets, is channeled through the Clean Hydrogen Infrastructure Fund.
