Emergy Oleochemicals to launch MES post-petroleum plant in China in Q1 '12

In Malaysia, Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, CEO of Emery Oleochemicals reports that their MES plant in China is nearing completion, and he is hoping for a Q1 start up.

The plant is a joint venture with Guangzhou Lonkey Industrial, and is expected to produce 40,000 tonnes a year. MES is a palm oil and palm stearin replacement for petroleum sourced linear alkylbenzene sulfonates.
