Elevion acquires 100% stake in BTS Holdings Italy
In Italy, Elevion Group B.V. and American BTS Bioenergy Europe LLC regarding the acquisition of a 100% stake in the Italian company BTS Holdings Italy SRL. BTS Biogas, in which BTS Holdings holds a 100% stake, provides EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) and O&M (operation and maintenance) services for biogas and biomethane plants. The closing of the transaction is subject to approval by the Italian antitrust authority and the energy regulator.
The transaction also includes 51% stakes in companies operating a portfolio of nine biomethane plants in northern Italy, three of which are already in operation and six of which are currently undergoing conversion from biogas to biomethane. Once they are fully operational, the portfolio is expected to reach a total production capacity of approximately 30 million standard cubic meters of biomethane per year.
