Ecoil Energy lands $2.5M Series A for Indian UCO supply chain platform
In India, Entrakr reports that Ecoil Energy has landed a $2.5 million Series A funding round to scale that platform that seeks to collect and dispose of used cooking oil. First funded by Shell during its seed round, this lound is led by Fundalogical Ventures to facilitate expansion across the country to channel UCO towards biodiesel and Sustainable Aviation Fuel production. Improved traceability, compliance, and aggregation together with integrating informal workers into the formal collection network to consolidate the fragmented supply chain are key aims of the platform.
