Digest Bioeconomy Index regains 0.79 percent to 48.39 as ethanol surges

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, regained 0.79 percent to 48.39 as ethanol surged. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) rebounded 4.49 percent to $1.86, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) soared 5.93 percent to $3.57.  Among other equities, Biox (BX.T) shed 11.48 percent to $0.54. Overall, advances led declines by a 3 to 1 ratio for the day.
