Digest Bioeconomy Index rebounds 1.47 percent to 53.89 as ethanol surges

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, rebounded 1.47 percent to 53.89 as ethanol surged. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) rallied 5.15 percent to $3.06, while Green Plains (GPRE) soared 9.51 percent to $20.61. Among other equities, Biox (BX.T) plunged 15.73 percent to $0.75. Overall, advances led declines 5 to 2 for the day.
