Digest Bioeconomy Index rebounds 0.84 percent to 55.49 as chemicals gain

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, rebounded 0.84 percent to 55.49 as chemicals gained. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) jumped 5.33 percent to $3.16, while Renewable Energy Group (REGI) dropped 8.85 percent to $7.72 after dropping guidance for Q3 earnings.  Among other equities, Aemetis (AMTX) surged 6.59 percent to $2.75. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 1 for the day.
