Digest Bioeconomy Index loses 0.49 percent to 54.61 as large caps tumble

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, lost 0.49 percent to 54.61 as large caps tumbled. For the day, Abengoa (ABGB) dumped 21.36 percent to $2.21, while BASF slid 4.80 percent to $72.35. Among other equities, Neste (NTOIF) surged 8.69 percent to $26.26. Overall, declines led advances by a 7 to 3 ratio for the day.
