Digest Bioeconomy Index jumps 1.21 percent to 51.00 as advanced bio gains

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, jumped 1.21 percent to 51.00 as advanced bio gained. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) soared 14.19 percent to $0.73, while Solazyme (SZYM) topped that with a 15.10 percent gain to $2.82. Among other equities, Biox (BX.T) shed 15.58 percent to $0.65. Overall, advances led declines by a 4 to 3 ratio for the day.
