Digest Bioeconomy Index jumps 1.08 percent to 51.55 as the sector enjoys Santa Claus rally

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, jumped 1.08 percent to 51.55 as the sector enjoyed a Santa Claus rally. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) jumped 5.49 percent to $1.73, while Global Bioenergies (ALGEB.PA) shed 3.69 percent to $26.10. Among other equities, Biox (BX.T) soared 29.23 percent to $0.84. Overall, advances led declines by a 9 to 5 ratio for the day.
