Digest Bioeconomy Index gains 0.95 percent to 49.02 as large caps advance

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, gained 0.95 percent to 49.02 as large caps advanced.  For the day, Metabolix (MBLX) jumped 7.89 percent to $1.64, while DuPont (DD) was up 3.40 percent to $62.94.  Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) fell 3.31 percent to $1.46. Overall, advances led declines by a 2 to 1 ratio for the day.
