Digest Bioeconomy Index gains 0.72 percent to 51.92 as Santa Claus rally continues

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, gained 0.72 percent to 51.92 as a Santa Claus rally continued. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) jumped 5.95 percent to $4.81, while BioAmber (BIOA) gained 5.42 percent to $6.81. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) dumped 4.62 percent to $1.65. Overall, advances led declines by a 4 to 1 ratio for the day.
