Digest Bioeconomy Index gains 0.70 percent to 54.66 as enzymes surge

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, gained 0.70 percent to 54.66 as enzymes surged. For the day, Novozymes (NZMB) was up 9.24 percent to $46.05 on its Q3 earnings report, while BASF jumped 4.43 percent to $74.53. Among other equities, Abengoa (ABGB) tumbled 8.04 percent to $4.69. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 1 for the day.
