Digest Bioeconomy Index falls 1.59 percent to 50.78 as advanced bio slumps

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, fell 1.59 percent to 50.78 as advanced bio slumped. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) dropped 10.90 percent to $2.37, while Gevo (GEVO) shed 10.73 percent to $0.60. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) lost 7.17 percent to $2.20. Overall, declines led advances 7 to 1 for the day.
