Digest Bioeconomy Index drops 0.90 percent to 50.80 as advanced bio dips

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, dropped 0.90 percent to 50.80 as advanced bio dipped. For the day, Metabolix (MBLX) fell 7.74 percent to $1.43, while Aemetis (AMTX) shed 5.82 percent to $2.58. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) dumped 5.73 percent to $2.47. Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
