Diamond Green Diesel to slow down production after reaching full capacity

In Louisiana, Diamond Green Diesel has reached full capacity of 9,000 barrels per day after starting up operations in late June. The facility uses waste fats and cooking oils as feedstock, but will now wind down to no more than 7,000 barrels a day through November as it changes out a heart exchanger to improve operations.
