Cosan, Shell to raise ethanol output to 1.3B gallons by 2016
In Brazil, Cosan and Shell plant to jointly double Cosan’s sugarcane production over the next five years to 100 million metric tons with ethanol production also doubling to 5 billion liters. The project doesn’t yet have a price tag but Cosan expects to float bonds overseas to fund the expansion.
